Fall in the Arizona desert is one of my favorite times for photo sessions! The golden light and scenic desert views near Scottsdale make it the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless photos. I had the sweetest fall mini session with a fun couple and their two adorable pups—a playful goldendoodle and a gentle shepherd mix.

Even though it was still warm (Arizona fall isn’t exactly sweater weather!), this session was full of laughter, wagging tails, and so much love. The dogs brought so much personality and energy, making the photos feel lively and authentic. I love when families include their pets—it’s such a fun way to create natural, candid moments.

We timed the session perfectly to catch that dreamy Arizona sunset, with the soft golden light glowing across the desert landscape. The mix of beautiful desert scenery, playful pups, and this sweet couple made their fall mini session truly unforgettable!
