Brittany and Mike are two of the nicest humans! It was such a pleasure to be a part of their wedding celebration. I loved hearing their love story: how their moms met while in Colorado while they were both in Chicago; how they met at the wedding of a mutual friend; how he was so impressed by her athleticism and outdoorsiness that he was determined to find out more; the way that they grew together and supported each other while dating. Two truly wonderful humans who will make a truly beautiful life together. Congrats!

The Mother of the Bride requested this iconic photo of the bride, her mother, and her grandmother with their rings.

I love shots like this with all the bridesmaids helping the bride with finishing touches.

Brittany and Mike did a first look in front of the Sanctuary’s gorgeous vine wall. It’s one of my favorite spots at this venue, but I don’t get to use it every time because of lighting.

The couple took a moment to pray together during the ceremony. It was a wonderful way to create a moment for just the bride and groom in the middle of the wedding day.

We gathered all the wedding guests together for a giant group wedding photo.

The Sanctuary ceremony space can be transformed into an amazing dance area with bistro lights and chandeliers.

Brittany and Mike headed off to their honeymoon with a bubble send off. It’s a great alternative to a sparkler send off in which all guests can participate, even kids.
