Melissa and Rick lived in the same complex, and one lucky day, they both decided to head to the pool.  That was day one of a five year relationship.  Rick had a little boy, and Melissa was there every step of the way to love him and raise him right along side Rick.  On December 15th, Rick caught Melissa off guard in the kitchen with champagne and tiramisu.  She said she would save it for a special occasion.  Then, he popped the question and gave her a special occasion to celebrate.  Rick planned to ask her on Christmas morning, but he couldn’t stand to wait that long.
They were married in the shadow of the Red Mountains, at the
Superstition Manor in Mesa Arizona. This Mesa venue has a villa-like feel without the distance and travel it would take to get to a real European villa. The stonework, fountains, railings, garden, front gate, and mountain views formed a picturesque backdrop for their wedding.
Melissa and Rick chose to be married on a platform with the red mountains in the background. The day was warm, but these Arizonans toughed it out. By the time the reception came around, though, everybody was dying to cool down in the ballroom and have a drink.
