Jonathon walked into a shop one afternoon and was greeted by a warm smiling face. Ashley helped him find what he was after and put a little extra effort into this sale. She wanted to make sure he’d be a return customer, so she gave him a little wink.

You can bet he came back, and eventually worked up the courage to ask for her phone number. Then, he lost it! (Good thing she’s forgiving!)

Jonathon says he knew she was the one for him from the moment on their very first date when he realized they’d been so caught up in the conversation that neither one of them had eaten a thing. (He’s usually not shy about eating…)

They spent many evenings in animated conversation together, philosophizing and talking about making the world a better place, and decided that being together was the best way to make both of their own world’s better.

Several years in, they were joined by their sweet little girl, who filled their hearts with even more love.

Now, five years after they started their journey together, they tied the knot at a private estate near Black Hawk, Colorado. Ashley wore some of the prettiest wedding shoes I’ve seen, and Jonathon’s eyes filed with tears as she walked confidently down the aisle, eyes locked on him.
