I first photographed Christina about a year ago.  After years of caring for her dad, he passed away and she felt like it was time to make some changes and take some risks.  She took such good care of her family and really everyone in her life, which she doesn’t regret.  However, the future called to her, and she felt like the moment was here for her to do a little more living.

Since every good life change should have photos to match, she asked me to take some new headshots.  We went clothes shopping, she had her hair and makeup done, and we took the photos.  Christina posted them and enjoyed the fun of having a new looking, but the real life change didn’t come immediately.  

Knowing that Christina had finally given in to social media, her brother asked his friend Dave to look her up and send her a message.

They hit it off almost immediately, even though they didn’t live in the same state.  He won her over with his thoughtfulness and genuine consideration.  Fast forward some months and a lot of risk-taking later, and Christina’s picture is now a permanent fixture on Dave’s desk.  With a private and personal proposal, he asked her to marry him, she said yes, and now both of their lives are really going to change.

I couldn’t be happier for my friend Christina and her fiance Dave.  You’re both lovely people, and it’s such a joy to see you together.
