I asked Liz to tell me a little bit about Troy, and here’s what she had to say:

“We officially met on tinder but after deleting my account because of lack of phone memory space and realizing he wouldn’t get the message, panic set forth and I realized I had to create a Linkedin account (I didn’t have one at the time) to search for Troy at Godaddy. Sent him a message and all the rest is history! Good thing he was easy to find!”

 “First date was at OhSo, he was a few minutes late, so I got there first. We sat and talked for hours, there wasn’t a dull or silent moment between us. Incredible chemistry since day one.”

“We always have fun on our dates.”

“He’s so funny and silly, he makes me laugh all day! There is nothing more attractive than a man who is goofy and can make me want to pee my pants because i’m laughing too hard.”

“He had my best friends daughter hold up a will you marry me sign and took a picture of it. Sent me the picture and as I turned around in shock, there he was, on his knee. I had my best friend, my niece and the love of my life (obviously) all there to share the most amazing moment of my life. It literally could not have been more perfect. Even more awesome is it’s all on video!!!!”

One of her favorite memories is, “Getting the keys to our first house together and just walking through the door knowing this house will be where we will live together for years to come and raise our children and live our lives to the fullest.”

“My other favorite [memory] is the day he told me he loved me. It was right before New Years, he couldn’t wait till after midnight so he pulled me into his bedroom right before and told me. That moment in my life was a moment that everything felt so right and perfect and I will never forget the feeling of knowing I wanted to marry him.”

“Took me to Mexico for Valentines day and had the room decked out with flowers and chocolate covered strawberries.”

“He loves singing, he is sometimes quite awful at it but I love it when he does. It’s totally obnoxious sometimes but it makes me laugh.”

I asked about the sweetest thing he does for her, and she said: “There isn’t one thing in particular, he will surprise me with flowers every now and then. He will randomly start slow dancing anywhere, music or not, audience or not.”

 Liz admires “His honesty and openness. He tells me everything, sometimes a little too much but in the end, there are no secrets between us.”

Liz was impressed “When he met my dad for the first time. He came in and shook his hand and wasn’t afraid to look him in the eye and talk to him.”

“He’s my other half, I can’t wait to see what life brings us. So far, our life together has been amazing. We have experienced so many firsts together. He is my everything #mysoulmate”

Liz says she’s the lucky one in this relationship because “He accepts me even though I am stubborn and difficult at times.”

“We love to go to Mexico, I like the drinks on the beach, she just loves the beach.”
