This afternoon, I’m pleased to post Jordan and Craig’s Gilbert Arizona Temple Wedding. Because Arizona gets pretty darn hot, we did a first look and portrait session the evening before the wedding, which allowed us to take our time, capture the beautiful evening light, and get really nice wedding photos without the hustle of the wedding day timeline. Then, on the day of the actual wedding, we were able to plan a little more relaxed schedule and head to the reception that much faster.

The reception took place in their local church building, which they totally transformed with the help of Practically Perfect AZ. The entire thing was covered in white draping and linen with pink and gold uplights, accents, and chandeliers. It really was among the most impressive DIY setups I’ve ever seen. The couple feasted on Vegan Pizza and Italian food, danced like no one was watching, and headed off to the cheers of family and friends.

Jordan first met Craig at a “Young single adult family home evening playing touch football, we were too chicken to talk to each other that night so we added each other on Facebook and went from there.” “He kept complimenting me which I was not used to, we learned we loved all of the same thing, it just felt right.”“On our first “date” (we went to the gym) we stayed outside talking for another hour or two in the freezing cold wind. He told me I was beautiful and I couldn’t believe it.” She says the most attractive thing about Craig is “His sense of humor.”When Craig proposed, Jordan says “I wasn’t surprised because he told me he had the ring, and it was a very typical way to propose. We were taking photos, and he said stay here I have one more pose. He said turn around and there he was on one knee.”Craig surprised Jordan one time when, “He said when do you want me at your house, I said now, he said well I teleported so come outside.”Jordan loves “His laugh when he thinks something is really, really funny.”She says the sweetest thing he does for her is keep her supplied with flower all the time. “He buys me flowers when the old ones die.” Jordan respects “His desire to care for everyone.” She admires “His willingness to let things go.”Craig impressed Jordan, “When he first met my nephew, I didn’t realize he was so good with kids.” She’s most excited to marry him “To spend all eternity with my best friend.”Jordan says she’s the lucky in this relationship because “He’s perfect.”Jordan says she’s the lucky in this relationship because “He’s perfect.” I asked Craig to tell me a little bit about Jordan, and here’s what he had to say:

Craig first met Jordan at a church football activity.He says when he was getting to know her for the first time, “She made me smile a lot.” For their first date, they walked around the Desert Botanical Garden. It was mostly dead, so they had the place pretty much to themselves.His favorite date with Jordan was when “We went to Dave and Buster’s and it was super fun.”The most beautiful thing about Jordan is “Her eyes???? and her everything.”His favorite memories together are of their trip to Disneyworld. “It was amazing.”“She surprised me with her name change to my last name ????????????.”One of her quirks that he really loves is that, “She bakes a lot, and I love it❤️.” The nicest thing she’s ever done for him is “She got me a letter to Hogwarts ????????????!” Craig respects that “She is really passionate about the things she loves.”Craig says he knew she was the one “When I saw her.” He’s most excited to marry her “Because she’s perfect.”He says he’s the lucky one in this relationship because “She is always there for me when I need her.”
