I feel so blessed to be in Colorado this summer. Arizona’s a wonderful place, and I absolutely love it. BUT summer really isn’t its strong suit…Colorado summers, though. I love the chill in the air in the mornings. Ya know that feeling of waking up on a camp out? Not the stick in your back feeling; the cold, crisp, clean, morning air feeling. That’s a Colorado morning in the summer. We never had air conditioning growing up (my Arizonans may be shocked by this), so we would open up the windows and let the breeze blow through the house all night. Then, in the morning, I’d wake up to a nip in the air, the smell of dewy grass, and the sound of birds chatting in the tree next to my window.
